APPLICATION PROCEDURES
All persons are required to submit an SRL application form, either electronically or paper copy. The following must be submitted to be considered for the Lab:

• application form
• brief curriculum vitae
• research proposal (for more info see proposal information)
• letter of recommendation from dissertation/thesis adviser (for graduate students only)

For those applying for housing grants or graduate student travel grants, a research proposal clearly indicating the policy relevance of the proposed research MUST be submitted in order to be considered. The proposal should be one– to two–pages. Housing grants are competitive and only a limited number are available to non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents. Funding for grants come from the U.S. Department of State Title VIII program and other REEEC sources.

	All Others	$35
Housing:	Shared two-bedroom suite/night	$46
	Single two-bedroom suite/night	$92
Housing Deposit:	All housing grantees at Illini Tower	$120

 

 

Note on Fees:
SRL associates will be billed for their registration fee once they are accepted for a SRL associateship. The registration fee is non-refundable once submitted.
A housing deposit is required for all associates receiving a housing grant.
