2007 Fulbright–Hays Group Project Abroad" Short-Term Seminar in Russia

Week Two
2–8 July
Week Four
St. Petersburg Moscow

About the Seminar

This is the second Fulbright-Hays seminar in Russia that the Russian, East European, and Eurasian Center has organized for American K-12 teachers. Three years ago, the Center joined forces with Professor Ron Pope, Illinois State University, to organize a summer seminar in Russia. REEEC had the resources to get a grant and recruit deserving teachers; Ron Pope had the connections with the American Home in Vladimir, Russia, whose staff was capable of putting together an appropriate program. The success of that earlier venture prompted REEEC and Professor Pope to join forces again this summer. For more information on the Fulbright-Hays Project, see fulbright.htm. For more on the American Home, see: www.serendipity-russia.com

Join us for a pictorial tour as the teachers discover Russian history, culture, politics, and language. You can also follow along the trip at the teachers' blog sites:
