ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION CRITERIA
Participation in the 2004 UIUC Fulbright–Hays Group Project Abroad
is subject to eligibility criteria established for all federally subsidized
programs. A maximum of 15 participants will be selected for the seminar.
Eligibility Requirements
- US citizen or permanent resident;
- Humanities, language arts, economics or social studies teacher or
librarian at a K-12 school in the U.S.
While the program is in general geared towards social studies teaching,
Russian language teachers are strongly encourage to apply.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on overall previous performance and
promise and interest in Russia, as reflected in the application statements
and letters of reference. Strong applications will explain the contribution
of this study program to the applicant’s career and teaching objectives.
