Tuition Costs—Waiver of Nonresident Portion

The nonresident portion of tuition is waived for persons actively serving in one of the Armed Forces of the United States who are stationed and present in the state of Illinois in connection with that service. The nonresident portion is also waived for the spouse and dependent children, as long as the military person remains stationed, present, and living in Illinois.
